Description

Baking a loaf of this Easy Vegan Banana Bread is one of our favorite ways to wake up on those chilly winter mornings.

Ingredients

  • 4 extra-ripe bananas

  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup  plant-based milk

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mash up the bananas into a smooth consistency. Add in the remaining ingredients (except for the baking soda and baking powder) and mix everything together thoroughly. Lastly, mix in the baking soda and baking powder and transfer it into your baking dish.

  2. Bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. Check with a toothpick or knife to ensure it has been baked through. If it still needs a few more minutes, turn the heat down to 375 degrees for an additional 10 minutes.
