This vegan Oat and Apple Crisp makes the perfect breakfast, dessert, or side dish to serve around the holidays!

Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (split)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (split)


Instructions

  1. Slice the apples into 1/4 inch flat slices. Then, in a large bowl mix the sliced apples with 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 cup maple syrup. Layer the apple mixture on the bottom of a baking dish (I love using a glass pie dish).

  2. In a large bowl mix the oats with 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup maple syrup, and the tsp of vanilla extract. After mixing spread the oat mixture over the apples.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top of the dish is golden brown.
