Description

Cooking up a bowl of homemade vegan Banana Bread Oatmeal is a great way to start your day with a healthy plant-based breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 cups plant-based milk

  • 1/2 cup steel-cut oats

  • 1 tbs maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Cut the bananas into 1/2 inch pieces. Add all of the ingredients into a pot on the stovetop and mix together well.

  2. Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes on low medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Once the time is up, serve as is or with some fresh fruit and a dash of cinnamon.
