Vegan Marinara Burger

Description

These Vegan Marinara Burgers are a great recipe for grilling up during the heat of the summertime or cool of the winter.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked red beans (drained and rinsed)

  • 1 cup cooked brown rice

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce

  • 2 tbs Italian seasoning

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes


Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into your stand mixer or a large bowl. Mix on a low setting or by hand for 3 to 5 minutes or until the beans have been mashed and incorporated with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Form into patties
  3. Grill on each side for 3-5 minutes (or until the patties release from the grill).
