Tofu can be one of the most versatile foods that we have when eating a plant-based diet. Now I know not everyone loves it and I will say that due to its higher fat content (40% of calories from fat) it is not something that I recommend that people eat on a daily basis if they are trying to lose weight.
But even during a weight loss program, you can still enjoy this delicious recipe once or twice a week, and if you are at a healthy weight you can make this oil-free dish a staple in your kitchen. I recently uploaded my recipe for my oil-free crispy tofu that I used in this recipe. If you are someone who doesn’t like your tofu crispy you can always use some pressed tofu and mix it with the glaze.
I will also mention that I like my orange glaze tofu sweet and citrusy, so if you are looking for more of a salty flavor you can always add in some soy sauce or teriyaki sauce to boost it up for your taste buds.
Finding WFPB sauces, dips, and dressings can be a struggle at times. Luckily this orange glazed tofu and sauce meets all the requirements!
