Description
Making your own Sweet and Spicy Rice Noodles is a great way to have a quick, healthy, and delicious plant-based meal.
Ingredients

8 ounces rice noodles

1 tbs chili paste

1 tbs rice wine vinegar

1 tbs maple syrup

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder
Instructions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in the rice noodles and place the steamer lid on top of the pot. Add the frozen vegetables into the steamer. Cover the steamer and allow to boil and steam for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan combine the maple syrup, chili paste, rice wine vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until the garlic and onion powder has been dissolved. Simmer on a low to medium heat while the vegetables are steaming and the noodles are boiling. Uncover the vegetables and set to the side. Drain the water from the noodles and then toss the noodles with the sauce. Add in the steamed vegetables. Top with your favorite soy sauce, liquid aminos or coconut aminos.
