We recently spent a weekend in Georgia and after seeing an incredible amount of peach trees, I was inspired to make a peaches and cream nice cream. Growing up I was not a very big peach fan, I’m not sure if it was the fuzzy exterior or the softness of the fruit.
As I have progressed along with my plant-based journey I have found that I cannot find a fruit that I don’t absolutely love, and peaches are now one of my favorites. They are also a great fruit to make plant-based desserts with because even when they are not in season you can find them in the freezer section at almost any grocery store.
When I first shared this recipe with Dr. Miller I was glad that I had taken a few bites, because when I walked back into the office the rest of the bowl of nice cream had disappeared!
