Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

It is officially that time of year where the weather is started to cool down and everyone is starting to fill up with pumpkin-flavored everything. I love a good smoothie to start the day and this time of year I start making my pumpkin pie smoothie. For this recipe, we will be using the frozen pumpkin puree that I did a recipe and video on recently. I find that on cool mornings the warming spices in this recipe are just what I need to start my day.

Just like the rest of my recipes, the amounts can all be changed to better fit your pallet and preferences. If you want this to be sweeter, add some more maple syrup. If you are looking for more cinnamon, go ahead and sprinkle some more in.

I have found that this is also a great treat to share after dinner time when we have guests over during the Fall and Winter seasons.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie


Description

Making your own pumpkin pie smoothie is the perfect way to cool down at the end of the summer when you dreaming about the coming Fall months.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen pumpkin puree

  • 1 1/2 cups plant-based milk

  • 1 tbs maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/8 tsp clove

  • 1/8 tsp ginger


Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into your blender.
  2. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes or until all of the bananas have been blended into a creamy smoothie consistency.
